NEGLIGENT DRIVING.

Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, Sept. 13. Ernest William Haggitt was charged in Court to-day with negligently driving a motor car and was fined £lO and prohibited from driving for twelve months. The police stated that a young woman. who was alighting from a tram was struck and pushed some distanco along the ground, having to receive medical attention. Defendant was driving at an excessive speed.-
