MURDER CHARGE.

Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Sept. 14. Mrs Annie Cubis, aged 40, did not appear in the Police Court this morning to answer the charge of murdering her two infant boys. Mr Hunt, S.M., stated that he had received a report from the mental hospital authorities, stating that Mrs Cubis would not be fit to appear for some months. “Under the circumstances,” added Mr Hunt, “I have written to the Crown Law Office at Wellington, suggesting that the proceedings should be withdrawn, as she is too bad to appear.” The case was adjourned until September 21.
