TRANSMISSION IN DOMINION SOON.
Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Sept. 15. The Postmaster-General (Hon. J. B. Donald) stated at a ceremony held to celebrate the cut-over in Christchurch from the manual to the automatic telephone system that plant for the' transmission of picturegrams would shortly be operating between Auckland and Wellington and the service in due time would link up the four main centres.
