CABLE TRAMS GO.
NEW SYSTEM FOR MELBOURNE. Received September 16, 10 a.m. MELBOURNE, Sept. 16. Cable trams, which have run through the city of Melbourne for 43 years, have now ceased operations. The last car passed through the city on Sunday night. Omnibuses will replace them until the electric tramway system is completed.
