The Orontes, the Orient Company’s latest and finest liner for the Australian service, made her first trial cruise to-day. It is claimed that the vessel’s deck space equals that of any ship on any route. A feature of the Orontes, which is of 20,000 tons, is the unusually generous nature of the third-class accommodation.
