SERIOUS INJURIES.

Per Press Association. WAIHI, Sept. 16. Air R. J. Perry, relieving inspector of the railway permanent way at Waihi, whilst driving a motor-jigger near Waihi was run into by the Tauranga express. His jigger was smashed to pieces. Air Perry had both legs and an arm broken, and suffered a compound fracture of the skull. He was taken to the Waihi Hospital, and is not expected to live.
