MOTOR ACCIDENT.

ELDERLY CYCLIST INJURED. (Special to “Standard.”) FEILDING, Sept. 18. During the lunch hour yesterday Mr G. C. Palmer, aged 73, a saddler, of Feilding, came into collision with a car driven by Mr J. Jamieson, of Feilding, at thq intersection of Bailey ana Denbigh Streets, sustaining a fractured rib and arm. Mr Palmer, who is rather hard of hearing, was cycling along the road and apparently failed to notice the approach of the car which was travelling at a slow pace. He was removed to a private hospital for treatment.
