MOTOR TRADE CONFERENCE.
At the motor trade conference this morning, the members of the training committee were re-appointed en bloc. The benevolent fund report was also adopted. Messrs G. W. Tench (Christchurch) and J. M. Ferguson (Taranaki) were respectively appointed the South and North Island vice-presidents of the association.
Eulogistic reference was made by visitors to the cordial reception given by members of the local traders’ association and to the very complete arrangements made by them for the conference.
