MOTOR TRADE CONFERENCE.
GATHERING CONCLUDED. The combined conference of members of the New Zealand Motor Trade Association and the New Zealand Wholesale Motor and Cycle Traders’ Association, Ltd., which was commenced in the Municipal Hall on Tuesday, concluded this morning. It was decided that the next conference should be held in Timaru.
Mr C, Wood, the retiring president of ' the Motor Trade Association, re-, turned thanks to the council and members of the association for the assistance given him during the ■ year, especially mentioning the secretary, Mr J. F. Cousins. He congratulated the gathering on the emooth working of the conference.
Mr D. F. Bauchop, president of the "Wholesalers’ Association, also thanked members of his association for their loyal co-operation. The only business discussed this morning concerned the sale of tyres in New Zealand,_ the proceedings being held in committee.
