ACCOUNTANTS’ GIFT TO TECHNICAL SCHOOL.
commercial instruction given to pupils at the Palmerston North Technical School was conveyed to the monthly meeting of the committee last evening by tlio secretary of the New Zealand Society of Accountants, who forwarded the following letter: —“I have to advise that your report, dated July 30 last, dealing with tne commercial classes at your school was read at a meeting of the council held in Dunedin last week. 1 was instructed by tho council to forward to you a letter covering the council’s appreciation of the work done by the tutors in your commercial classes.” The council advised that its subsidy of £6O would be payable for a further year at the same rate.
