SCHOONER FIRED ON.

SHELLED BY AMERICAN COASTGUARD. (United Service.) HALIFAX (Nova Scotia), Sept. 19. The Canadian schooner Shawnee has arrived from Bermuda, after being shelled and hit three times by a United States coastguard off New* York. The Americans admit firing, but they state that the vessel refused to halt when challenged.
