DOMINION DAY.
SYDNEY CELEBRATIONS. SYDNEY, Sept. 23., The New Zealand Association in New South Wales celebrated Dominion Day by tendering a luncheon to the Premier, Mr T. R. Bavin, and the Consular Corps. The president of the association, Dr. Purdy, proposed the toast of the Dominion, to which the Government agent, Mr W. It. Blow, responded. Mr Blow gave a few facts illustrative of the wonderful progress made by New r Zealand since her first colonisation days. Mr Bavin and Sir Henry Braddon also spoke eulogistically regarding tho Dominion. Both speakers urged a greater interchange of visits and ideas.
