ARREST AT TAUMARUNUI.
CHARGE OF FALSE PRETENCES. Per Press Association. TAUMARUNUI, Sept. 23. To-day Detective Walsh and Sergeant Sivyer arrested a local resident, Goof Alva Trayhurn, on a charge of obtaining £SO from Leonard O’Reilly by falsely representing that a certain motor-ear was his own property. Other charges are pending. Trayhurn is general manager for Bishara Bros., motor garage proprietors, Taumarunui.
