COMPENSATION CLAIMED.

LARGE SUM INVOLVED. Per Press Association. - CHRISTCHURCH Sept. 24. The claim of James Wright, of Wright’s farm, near White’s Bridge, on the Waimakariri River, for £16,641 against the- Waimakariri River Trust was heard to-day by the Compensation Court. At the same time the Court heard claims by Gordon Wolsley Wright and Ewart Rolleston Wright, Mr Wright’s eons, who alleged that the leases to them by their father had been affected injuriously by the trust’s operations and that they suffered loss in other ways. The hearing has not concluded.
