REMARKABLE SPECIMEN. (By Telegraph. —Special to Standard.) AUCKLAND, Sept. 27. A freak lamb, which is claimed to be one of tho most remarkable specimens of freak animals existing, was born recently on Mr L. Tyes’ property on the Thames Coast. The lamb was discovered shortly after birth, when it exhibited a peculiar formation and gait. The animal was later found to have six fullydeveloped legs, which were all used in walking. Two extra legs were seemingly attached to tho normal ones in the body and were slightly curved near the hoofs. Tho lamb was perfectly formed from tho noso to its forequarters, after which it resembled two lambs encased in one body. The animal is stated to bo healthy and active and can move about with comparative ease.
