RECORD ENTRIES FOR FEILDING SHOW.
Tuesday of next week will be the opening day of ,tho Feilding Show for which excellent entries, constituting a record in the history of the association, have been received. The competitions and horses and pony soctions should prove very attractive, and in the cattlo 'and sheep sections tho judges will have a very busy time. Big entries are a feature of tho show, there boing a total of 114 entries in this section, and competition is very keen. Cookery, preserve and needlework sections are filled to overflowing, and lady visitors to tho show should make a point of viewing these interesting sections. There will bo side-shows in plenty on the ground to cater for tho requirements of adults and children. The show will be open both evenings, from 7.30 to 10.30 o’clock; a varied concert programme will bo given on the first night, and for the second evening a grand prbcession of trade displays. Municipal and Pipe Bands, Fire Brigade, etc., will parade the town and march to tho showgrounds, for this • ovening the services of the famous Hokio Maori Melody Makers have beon engaged to provide the concert, and we can assure our readers that it is worth going a long way to hear these wonderful entertainers. The grounds will bo electrically lit and children under school age will bo admitted free. Those attending school will be charged 6d which will entitle them to a freo ride on the merry-go-round. Keep these dates in mind and come to tho show and have an enjoyable time.
