OBITUARY.
MR V. N. JENSEN.
Deep sympathy will be felt for ,Mr »nd Mrs J. A. Jensen, of Morris Street, in the sudden death, early this morning, of their son, Mr Victor N. Jensen, who passed away from a heart attack. 'Of a bright and cheerful disposition, Mr Jensen, who was a member of the, commercial staff of the “Manawatu Standard,” was held in high esteem by his fellow employees and a large-number of friends in the city. He was born 24 years ago, and on coming to Palmerston North with his parents as a child, was educated at the Terrace End School and afterwards at the Palmerston North Boys’ High School where he was a keen footballer. Mr Jensen took an interest in the Manawatu Amateur Athletic and Cycle Club to which he rendered valuable service although not a member. His tragically sudden death, at such an early age, has come as a .deep shock %o his parents, brothers and friends.
