Mr Tyre, A\anganui, won the semi-final of _ the New Zealand open championship to-day against Mrs Keys, of Auckland. He and Mrs Hadfield also won to-day the championship doubles, beating Mes; dames Tiffen and Watkins, 26 —10.. The Wellington player, Veitch.
