BOY BITTEN WHILE SWIMMING,

, Max .Tumor, aged 8 years, while swimming at Mvidgee, New South Wales, recently, was attacked by a black snake. He beat the reptile off, but not before-it had bitten him. His father took him to Mr It. Clarke’s residence, and a doctor was summoned. After treatment the child was taken to an hospital, and he is recovering.
