GOVERNMENT FORCES IN SALVADOR.
Received January 27, 8.5 a.m. SAN SALVADOR, Jan. 25. Government, officials have announced that their forces are in complete control of the country, and have suppressed all Communistic outbreaks. Unconfirmed private advices asserting that 1000 or more persons’ were killed over Sunday in the Salvador Communist uprising have been received here. The American Legation has reported to Washington that a number of prominent persons have been assassinated in the inteiror; although the capital has not been atacked, and President Martinez has stated that he has the situation “completely dominated.”
