' (From Our Own Correspondent.) OTAKI, Jan. 27. Rev. Mr and Mrs Carroll are at. prosont spending a holiday in Palmerston North. Mrs J. Kirk, who has been in Otaki for some time, has returned to Palmerston North. Mr and Mrs W. H. Reynolds are at presont on a tour of the north. Rev. Mr and Mrs Malcom, after spending & month’s holiday in Otaki, have returned, to Wanganui. Rev. Mr and Mrs Moir, who haVo been on a tour of the north, returned home to-day. Miss Ida Bills was married last evening to Mr R. Whiteman. .The wedding took place on Friday of Mr L. Evans and Miss Mary Freeman. Petty thieving is still prevalent hero, and many vegetable gardens have been visited.
