• (From Our\ Own Correspondent.) KOPAfcE, Jan. 27.. : Mrs A. Houghton has returned from a holiday spent: at Tangimoana. .Mrs Forlong has also returned after a holiday spent at the beaoh. Mr and Mrs L, Lancaster are at present making, at Seatoun, Wellington. Miss Ruth Bray and Miss Valerio Wyatt, of Auckland, who have been spending a-holiday as the guests, of Mrs B. K. Bennett Buokland. have left to spend some time' in Wellington, before returning to their homos. ' Mrs Jones and family have returned from holiday making at the seaside. Mrs Richardson and family, who have been spending' some weeks as the guests of Mrs A. Prentice, havo returned to their home in Palmerston North. Mrs A. Prentice has gone to visit her mother, Mrs Peterson, of Ashhurst. Very welcome rain fell during Tuesday afternoon and evening but unfortunately it was not enough to be benefioial to the badly parched pastures.
