BUNNYTHORPE.
(From Our Own Correspondent). BUNNYTHORPE, Jan. 29. On Wednesday the Methodist Church and Sunday school held their' annual picnic at the Ashhurst Domain, where a very enjoyable time was spent. Luncheon, was provided. The teacher greatly helped the outfng by arranging games ’ and sport items. A very quiet wedding took place on Tuesday, tne '26th inst.; when Mr David Smith, of Reid’s Line, Bunnythorpe, was married to Dorothy, only daughter of Mr and Mrs E. K. Ransom, of Bunnythorpe. The funeral of tho late Mrs Jepson took place on Thursday afternoon, when there was a large gathering to pay their last tribute of respect, showing tho esteem in which the" deceased was held. A number of wreaths wero placed on the grave. A servioe was held, at her residence and a further short service at the grave side, conducted by Rev. Mr Fordyoe.
