THE NO 5 SCHEME. i./ Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Jan. 28. “This is a very drastic move,” said Mr J. W. Beanland, acting-chairnian of the Citizens’ Unemplovment Relief. Committee, commenting on the decision of the Unemployment'Board; to suspend the No. 6 scheme in some of the counties of Canterbury. Mr Beanland added that there were scores of men working on. relief in countnr districts who were not physically nt for harvesting work.
