MIRACULOUS ESCAPE.
MISHAP TO ELECTRIC TRAIN,
SYDNEY, Jan. 29. A suburban electric train, with 600 passengers aboard, fouled the points near Strathfield to-night. One section of the train travelled on one set of rails and the other carriages ran on to parallel lines. Two 'intermediate carriages' turned over on their side and were dragged 150 yards. It w-as fi miracle that only one passenger was injured, but there was serious damage to the rolling stock and the permanent way.. ■
