SIR ERIC DRUMMOND’S RESIGNATION. (British Official. Wireless.") . RUGBY, Jan. 29. It' is officially announced that Sir Eric Drummond, first Secretary-General of the League of Nations, has resigned the position, which he hag held since 1919. Several days ago hi announced his intention of resigning, but was asked to reconsider his decision. IRAK AS MEMBER. (British Official Wireless.) ' RUGBY, Jan. 29. The League of Nations Council has adopted a report approving of the acceptance of Irak as a member of' the League as,soon.as- the British mandate ends. The' mandate accordingly will terminate at the next League Assembly meeting, when Britain will recommend Irak for. membership.. « ,
