INVITATION TO SWIMMER.
Received December 13, 1.5 p.m. SYDNEY, Dec. 13.
An invitation has been received from the New Zealand Swimming Association that Phillips he allowed to tour the Dominion in March. The New South Wales Association had asked for a copy. of the itinerary and details as to the amount of travelling. These particulars must be approved before tire way is clear for acceptance of the invitation.
The visit of Ryan and Griffiths to New Zealand is still fresh in the official memory. It is stated that the two tourists on that occasion had not forgotten the strain of too much travelling and the numerous appearances which the itinerary entailed.
