PLOT IN RUSSIA.
REPORT OF ARREST. Received December 16, 8.40 a.m. LONDON, Dee. 15. • The Warsaw correspondent of the Daily Express says that M. Sokolnikov, late Soviet Ambassador to London, has been arrested in Moscow by the Ogpu. (secret police) allegedly in connection with a plot to overthrow M. Stalin. DENIAL OF REPORT. Received December 16, 9.35 a.m. MOSCOW, Dec. 15. The arrest of M. Sokolnikov is denied.
