Mason, J. Barron, E. Withers, F. Roore, R. Thane, A. Baird. W. Hussey, of the Surf Club, who passed tho proficiency test last year, also passed the bronze mcdaltion. examination. Yesterday afternoon the second round of the Triangular Bowling Shield contest was hold at Foxton under very favourable conditions. The following are the details— Foxton (Moses, Jas. Christie, D. Christie, Mattar, skip) 26 v. Shannon (Butt, Newton Clavton, Alexander, skip) 11. Foxton (Ta’whai, Bryant, Howe, Roore, skip) 27 v. Levin (Pink, Bryant, Challies, Pyke, skip) 10. Foxton (Trueman, Newth, Huntley, Thomson, skip) 26 v. Shannon (Aim, Hyde, Grey, Mason, skip) 16. Foxton (Mairs, Scadden, Hinds, Woods, skip) 16 v. Levin (Fletcher, Routley, Brown, Clements, skip) 21. The aggregate for the two rounds £layed to date are Foxton 144, Shannon 98, ievin 74.
