IRISH FREE STATE.
MAY LEAVE THE EMPIRE. LONDON, Dec. 15. Mr Sean Lemass, Minister of Industry, in the Free State Senate, said that it was likely in the near future that circumstances would necessitate the dissolution of the Irish Free State from the Empire. The only jusification for its continuance was the existence of substantial benefits conferred on the Free State. If these, as at present, were not experienced, the necessity for the maintenance of the association would be removed.
