COMMITTED FOR SENTENCE.

Per Press Association. GREYMOUTH, Dec. 22. William Alfred Sandman, 37, was committed for sentence this morning for theft of £398 13s 3d, the property of a mutual life society, by whom he was employed as a canvasser; and also on a charge of fraudulently altering a hank lodgment slip from £2 Is od to £52 10s sd. Bail was allowed, accused to report to the police weekly.
