TREASURES IN DANGER, Received December 22, 9.45 a.m. BRUSSELS, Dec. 21. Three fire brigades I*ok an hour to subdue a fire in King Albert's magnificent palace. They fought desperately to prevent the flames spreading to the salon, whero there were countless historic treasures. The city’s entire police were sent to control the thousands of onlookers.
The fire destroyed the oak beams of tlio dome and the supporting girders.
