AEROPLANE ON ROOF.

PETROL CAUSES EXPLOSION. PARIS, Dec. 20. A military, aeroplane crashed on the roof of a house in a Parisian suburb and the pilot was killed instantly. The inhabitants rushed into the street. Policemen and volunteers, using ladders, attempted to reach the wreckage, wlrile a septuagenarian woman resident returned to fetch her savings. A violent explosion occurred owing to petrol reaching a stove through the chimney. The explosion killed the woman and injured nineteen other persons.
