FEILDING TOURNEY. Entries for the holiday bowling tournament to be played on the Feilding and Oroua Bowling greens on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday next closed with 18 rinks having entered. ■ The support accorded the venture is below expectations, the local committee having entertained hopes of a larger number of Palmerston North bowlers coming forward. The following is the draw for the first round, the skips only being mentioned:— • Feilding green. —Section A : Christiansen v. Mattar; Way v. Brown, Hicks v. Ramsay; Wills v. Roach; Purcell v. Kershaw. Oroua green. —Section B : Moore v. Davidson; McLean v. Smith; Wilson v. Wenham; Aitken v. Hodd. Play will commence on both greens at 9 a.m. sharp on Monday.
