It contains the first authoritative record*’of the enterprise, including entirely new information. There is an account of the founding of the paper, and its development into a world power, under the chief proprietor and director, Mr John Walter the Second, son of the founder, and also under the famous contemporary editor, Mr John Delane. Reviews of the Lord Northcliffe period and the journal’s efforts from wartime, to the present, including every phase of journalistic activity,, are also included in the publication, with which there are 12 pages of illustrations."
