AEROPLANE MISSING.
GOLD SEARCHERS ON BOARD
SYDNEY, Dec. 27
An aeroplane piloted by Mr H. Baker, with two passengers, Messrs P. Whelan and N. Stuckey, who are trying to locate a gold reef, is missing in Central Australia, and a request has been made to the Air Force to provide search ’planes. Nothing has been heard of the missing machine since Thursday, when it left for the Livesay range, in Central Australia. t
