DEATHS IN UNITED STATES.

TWO HUNDRED FATAL ACCIDENTS NEW YORK, Dec. 26. The Associated Press reports over 200 fatal accidents during the two days’ Christmas holidays. One hundred and five were the result of automobile mishaps. There were unusually few deaths from poison, liquor or alcoholism. So far thirty-nine bodies have been removed from the gas-filled Moweaque mine, Illinois. There are fifteen men unaccounted for, of whom ten are believed to have been cremated. There is a bare chance of rescuing five.
