ESPERANTO CONGRESS
MASTERTON, Dec. 29. The fourth annual congress of the New Zealand Esperanto Association concluded to-day. 1 This morning the New Zealand section of the Universal Esperanto Association held its annual general meeting, which was conducted entirely in Esperanto. Mr L. E. Dust, Wellington, chief delegate for New Zealand, was the principal speaker. Delegates and visitors were tendered a complimentary luncheon at noon, and the congress was formally closed by the president of the New Zealand Esperanto Association, Mr L. E. Dust. The present executive was re-elected. Other officer's elected were: President, Mr L. E. Dust, Wellington ; vice-presidents, Mrs J. Allan, Dunedin, Messrs N. M. Bell, Christchurch, J. A. Hodges, Rotorua, C. J. Adocock, Auckland; and lion, treasurer, Mr E. C. Jack, Wellington. It was decided to hold the fifth congress at Wellington next year.
