UNEMPLOYED WORKERS’ MOVEMENT.
At a well attended meeting of the above organisation, held on Monday evening, several matters of importance regarding relief workers were discussed. Committees were set up to arrange for a regular euchre tournament and to go into the matter of a picnic and concert. . Strong exception was expressed in relation to unemployed trademen working at their trade oh relief works at relief pay. It was decided to get in touch with the authorities to get the matter adjusted. In the matter of task work for relief rations is was decided to again approach the Central Relief Committee,
