MISSING FROM HOME.
A AVAIRARAPA MAN. FEATHERSTON, Oct. 3. Fears are entertained for the safety of Cyril Johnson, aged 26 years, farm hand, who has been missing from Ins home since Saturday morning. Johnson, who is employed on Mr A. E. Pearce’s estate at Kaliutara, resides with his parents and is known to have left his home early on Saturday morning wearing only a pair of trousers pulled on over his pyjamas, and an old pair of boots. FootnicirKS on tlio frostcovered ground indicated that he walked out on to the road. For three days search parties combed the Knhutara district in search of the missing man, but with no results. Search operations have now ceased, however, as there is no indication as to in what part of the district he may be found. Mr J. H. Waugh, manager of the estate, said that Johnson was quite cheerful when he last saw him. It is understood that the missing man suffers from lapses of memory.
