REPORTED SALE OF DEPUTY RULER. SYDNEY, Oct. 5. It is reported that Mr W. Pearson has bought Deputy Ruler from the Now Zealand sportsman, Mr Emanuel, for 2000 guineas. The Metropolitan winner. Regal Sun, has been scratched from the Caulfield Cup. He is being reserved for the Melbourne Cup: Liinarch has reappeared on the tracks and appears to have recovered from his recent- injury. Autopay is also nearly himself again. Acceptors for the Randwick Plate on Saturday are: Rogilla 9.4, Lough Neagh 9.3. Topical 9.3, Hcrolagc 9.3, Silver Scorn 8.9.
