THE SPRING SHOW.
All indications to daio are that the 48tb Metropolitan Spring Show to be held at Palmerston North on November Ist, 2nd and 3rd wil easily reach the high • standard set by its predecessors. School entries have now closed and reach the splendid total of 2,151 being 203 in excess of those of last year. This proves conclusively that, the schools recognise the educative value to be gained by exhibiting at the Show. All entries in the needlework, home industries, photography and model aeroplain sections close to-morrow, and those who have not yet done so are requested to make a point of getting heir enrics in righ away. Stud stock breeders arc well catered for and liberal prize money is offered for all classes of horses, cattle, sheep and pigs, entries for which close on Saturday, 14th instant. Those who have not yet received a schedule should make application to the secretary, Mr W. T. Penny, p.O. Box 85, Palmerston North.
