BATTERY PARADE
PRESENTATION OF TROPHIES. At tho Artillery Barracks, Alain Street, on Monday evening at 7.4.5, the 7th and Bth Field Batteries, Royal New Zealand Artillery, will he inspected by the brigade commander, Lieut.Colonel It. W. Fenton, R.N.Z.A., and Major It. S. Park, O.C. R.N.Z.A., Artillery Staff Officer, Central Command. At this inspection trophies won by trainees during the training year will be presented. The following awards have been made. 7tb Battery.—Section Cup, Lieut. AV. E. Moore; Sub-section Shield, B.Q.M.S. D. S. McNaugliton; Sports Cup, Sgt. J. J. Hamblyn; best gunner, Onr. S. C. Matthews; best layer., L-Bdr. R. AV. Bresnehan; best battery staff gunner, F. K. Maynard; best driver, Gnr. J. E. Davis; most improved u.c.0., L-Bdr. A. F. Dallas; most regular attemler, Bdr. AV. R. Kells. Bth Battery.—Section Cup, Lieut. J. F. Tasker; Sports Cup, Sgt. J. Stancombe; Sub-section Shield. Sgt. M. I. Abraham; best gunner, Bdr. R. .J. Bottle; best layer, Bdr. AV. AV. Young; best battery staff. Bdr. D. F. Gilchrist and Gnr. R. R. Menentles!; most improved driver, L-Bdr. R. D. Mudford; most improved n.c.0., Sgt. It. J, Hannan; most regular attendor, Sgt. M. T. Abraham and Gnr. B. G. Hibell.
