AMATEUR CYCLING.
Only five riders started in the senior road race, a distance of 21 miles, conducted by the Manawatu Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club on Saturday afternoon. The fastest time (57min. 27 sec) was made by H. Essex. Seven cyclists rode in the junior race, a, distance of five miles, the fastest time (ISmin. 13 l-ssec) being made by R. Carlston.
