WOODVILLK. June 26. Air and Airs J. A. Fraser, of flic Waikato, who have- been visiting relatives in Woodvillc, have icturncd home. Mr and Airs 11. Richards and Airs F. Hurley, of AVoodville, are on a visit to New Plymouth. Airs Smith, of Woodvillc, and her daughter. Marie, are spending a holiday at liawora and arc slaying with Air and .Mrs Alyhill. A pretty wedding was celebrated at the Woouville A lot-h odist Cliurch, when Eva Sarah Isabella, daughter of All- and -Mrs J. Prydo, of Woodvillc. was married to Cecil .Morgan, of Woodvillc. Rev. I’. Ccatswortli was the officiating minister and Airs A. Smith presided at the organ. The bride was attended by her cousin, Aliss Mina Prydo, of Ruawliata, as chief bridesmaid, and .Miss Grace Gray, of Palmerston North. The bridegroom was attended by .Mr Jack Pryde, brother of the bride, a.s best man and Mr Alex Watson as groomsman. Messrs A. Ebbett, Foxton, aim T. O’Brien, Woodvillc, acted as ushers. At tiie manse a successful gift afternoon was he’d under the auspices of the Ladies’ Guild of St. David’s Church. Several competitions were held and the prize-winners were Airs G. Hartridge and Airs F. Williams. There was a largo assortment of gifts and the parcels were opened by Airs J. Graham and Airs Twaddle, president and secretary respectively. Airs Graham presented a decorated birthday cake to Airs Boyd iii honour of her birthday. Those coiitiributing to the programme wore:— Songs. Airs H. James, Aliss I. Graham; recitation, .Margaret Ware; Scotch reading, Airs C. Forbes. Aliss Graham, played the accompaniments. The quarterly meeting of Court AYood ville A.O.F. was held on Friday, when a good attendance was presided over by C’.R. Bro. 11. Harris. Five members wore reported on the sick list; and one was declared off. The election of officers resulted: — C. It., Bro. I!. Wanu'ck; 5.0. R., Bro. G. Squires; treasurer, Bro. R.
