MR DE VALERA’S AIM
DUBLIN. June 27.
The President of the Irish Free State (Mr Eamon de Valera) speaking at an election meeting, said: —“Britain can have peace when she ceases to dominate the Free State. We desire to unite peacefully with Ulstermen, whose prejudices can lie broken down if southerners show that they regard every person belonging to their nation as a citizen.”
