ITALIANS AND MOORS. AIMING FOR ALMERIA. LONDON, June 27. The Spanish Embassy in London announces that the Loyalist Government learns from a reliable source that the rna.p section of the Italian General Stalf has been transferred to Cadiz, and that 8000 soldiers went to Spain from Italy oil Thursday. From Gibraltar it is reported that 10,000 Moors and Arabs have arrived from Algeciras to join General Franco, who is reported to be planning a. big push on Almena with the co-operation of the fleet. A Seville message states that M ’planes, 44 tanks, 3000 rifles, 1000 ma-chine-guns and a quantity of ammunition fell into the hands of the Spanish rebels when the Russian steamei Kuran was captured by the Almirante Cervera when attempting to run the blockade of Almeria. . It is reported from Valencia that when Captain Hoyos, master of the Spanish cargo steamer Cabopalcs, reached Alicante he reported that tv hile proceeding to Valencia with a caigo of food a submarine of unknown nationality torpedoed tlie Cabopalos, which sank in five minutes. Forty-five members of the crew, including a woman acting as a nurse, entered the lifeboats and eventually were picked up by a fishing boat and taken to All cante. Five others were drowned. From La Pallice it is reported that dockers refused to unload the Seabank’s gold cargo unless instructed by the Basque Government and the French Federation of Trades Unions.
