LOCAL ARRANGEMENTS. For the greater convenience of the public an early announcement has been made by the Manawatu Rugby Union as to the ar-rangements'-for the match at Palmerston North in which the Springboks side will meet the Manawatu representatives on August 4. An advertisement elsewhere in this issue states that the gates at the Showground, where the contest will be staged, will open at 10 a.m. and the curtain-raiser will commence at 12.45 p.m. The main attraction will begin at 2.30 p.m. Iho price of admission to the grounds is 2s. Reserved spats in the covered stand arc priced at 10s 3cl each, and in the main stand and in the four temporary stands the price of reserved seats will bo 5s 9d. The prices quoted include gate admission. Ihe gate staffs aie to report at the wicket gate at 9.3 Q a.m.
