ROAD CYCLING.

A 36-mile race was conducted by the Feilding Amateur Cycling Club on Saturday. The course was to Kimliolton and return. E. Davis was first to turn and was not caught till after he had passed Kiwitea on the homeward run. Here Aloss and AlcCardlo came up. However, the latter’s chain came off and he was unable to overtake Davis and Aloss. The result of the race was: —-H. Aloss (Bin), 1, E. Davis (18i)i 2, Al. AlcCardle (9), 3. Fastest times were: H. Aloss, lhr 38min 20sec; A. Allen, lhr 39min ssec; A. Eades, lhr 40min 40scc.
