In every section the demand was keen, and wo cleared the whole of our entry under tlio hammer at prices in all ensro showing an increase on late sales. Fat sheep offering wore slightly lower than last week and realisations were consequently above vendors’ anticipations. Best lines of in-!amb ewes sold under keen competition from buyers local mid from the AYaikato and Alain Trunk Line districts. The quality of the large offering of both owe and wether hoggets was generally better than late yardings. There was very keen competition in this section, outside buvers securing the bulk of the offering. All classes of cattle shared in the improvement. in values,,beef and dairy cattle price,i showing a very sharp rise. Boner cows sold at full laic rates. No run cattle were on offer.
